In 2026, Wanzhi Steel celebrated its 15th anniversary. To mark this important milestone and express gratitude to every employee for their dedication and support along the way, the company organized a two-day, one-night anniversary celebration and team-building event under the theme “Journeying Through Mountains and Waters, United in Heart to Reach New Heights.”
On this occasion, we temporarily set aside the hustle and bustle of our daily work to immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature. In a relaxed and joyful atmosphere, we experienced the power of teamwork and shared a celebratory time filled with laughter, challenges, and warmth.
Journeying Through Mountains and Waters: Experiencing Team Strength in Nature
On the first day of the event, everyone gathered and set off together, forming three teams through a random draw. The logistics department took on the role of “NPCs,” issuing tasks at various points along the way to guide each group through a series of fun and challenging team activities.
Rather than simply organizing traditional games, this team-building event integrated teamwork, corporate culture, anniversary celebrations, and philanthropic values into the entire process.
From designing team slogans to taking group photos against the backdrop of mountains and water; from corporate culture quizzes to the “WanZhi” logo challenge using branches, stones, and leaves; from searching for mission clues to taking photos with fellow tourists… every task required members to work together.
Some came up with ideas, some carried them out, some took photos, and others cheered on the team. Tasks that seemed simple became even more fun through teamwork, and with each collaboration, everyone realized that while one person’s strength may be limited, a group working toward a common goal can accomplish much more.
With the 15th anniversary as the theme, every challenge was made meaningful
The event featured a special “Wanzhi 15th Anniversary Charity Challenge.”
All points earned by teams during the event will be converted into the anniversary charity fund. These points are not just numbers in a
competition; they represent each employee’s contribution to a good cause.
Throughout the event, participants had to continuously accumulate points by completing tasks while searching for “competitors” hidden within their own teams.
As the tasks progressed, new clues kept emerging. Teams had to not only strive for higher scores but also maintain communication, analyze clues, and discern the authenticity of information.
When the plot twist of “the anniversary fund being stolen” suddenly unfolded, all teams immediately shifted into “Defend the Anniversary Fund” mode. Everyone completed a speed group photo challenge within the allotted time and, through teamwork, recovered the charity fund.
This story-driven event design added a sense of suspense and fun to the entire journey, allowing everyone to not only enjoy themselves but also gain a deeper appreciation for the importance of teamwork.
A Special “Corporate Culture Quiz”
Corporate culture was also a key component of this anniversary event.
The event featured a corporate trivia challenge covering topics such as the company’s founding date, mission, values, product knowledge, and business philosophy.
These seemingly familiar topics were revisited in a relaxed team-building setting.
