VCM Steel Production Process

Cold-Rolled Steel → Cleaning → Chemical Pretreatment → Adhesive Coating → PVC/PET → Lamination → Heating → Cooling → Inspection → Packing

1. High-quality cold-rolled steel is selected (GI or GL steel may also be used; aluminum sheets are sometimes used as well);
2. Impurities, dust, oil, and other contaminants are removed from the substrate surface to provide a clean surface for subsequent processing;
3. A uniform chemical conversion coating is formed on the steel sheet surface to enhance corrosion resistance and adhesive bond strength;
4. A specialized high-performance adhesive is evenly applied to provide a stable bonding layer for the film;
5. PVC or PET film is selected based on customer requirements (various colors, gloss levels, and textures are available);
6. Use high-temperature, high-pressure calendering equipment to firmly laminate the decorative film onto the steel sheet surface, forming a stable multilayer structure.
7. Further enhance the cross-linking of the adhesive layer to ensure a stronger bond between the film and the steel sheet.
8. Rapidly cool the sheets to ensure dimensional stability and good flatness.
9. Finally, conduct quality inspections on the finished VCM steel coils; after verifying compliance with required standards and specifications, proceed with packaging.
