Galvanized square pipe Manufacturing Process

1. Selection and processing of raw materials

• Raw material selection: Select high-quality low-carbon steel or alloy steel as raw materials.
• Pretreatment: Cut, grind, clean and other pretreatments of raw materials to ensure a smooth and clean surface.

2. Forming process

• Cutting: Cut the steel into the required size.
• Rolling: Roll the cut steel into a square pipe shape through a rolling machine.
• Welding: Use resistance welding, submerged arc welding and other welding technologies to weld the formed square pipe.

3. Galvanizing treatment

• Cleaning: In order to improve the adhesion of the zinc layer, remove impurities such as oil and welding slag on the surface of the square pipe before galvanizing.
• Galvanizing: Use hot-dip galvanizing or cold-dip galvanizing process to immerse the square pipe in molten zinc liquid or a solution containing zinc for galvanizing.
• Cooling and passivation: After galvanizing, the square pipe is cooled and passivated to improve the stability and corrosion resistance of the galvanized layer.

4. Surface treatment and inspection

• Surface treatment: straighten, cut, and polish the cooled square pipe to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface quality.
• Inspection: perform the final inspection on the square pipe, including appearance quality, size, mechanical properties, chemical composition, etc.
