Production Process
- Substrate Preparation: High-quality PPGI or PPGL steel coils are selected and undergo chemical passivation and phosphating treatments to enhance coating adhesion and rust prevention capabilities.
- Multiple Precision Printing: Using a roller-coating printing process, custom wood-grain ink is evenly applied to the substrate surface through multiple printing stages.
- Protective Layer and Surface Treatment: A transparent, wear-resistant clear coat (polyester or fluorocarbon) is roller-coated onto the surface, with options for matte or high-gloss curing.
- Final Curing: The steel strip passes through a 40–60-meter-long hot-air curing oven (up to 240°C) to fully cross-link the coating.
- Slitting: The wood-grain steel coil is cut into narrow steel strips of specified widths using a high-speed slitting machine, according to customer requirements.

Our wood-grain steel strip coils can be produced with a single-sided wood grain or a double-sided wood grain; naturally, the double-sided option is more expensive, so you can choose based on your needs.
Additionally, you can achieve a wood grain effect on steel coils by applying a laminated wood grain film. These metal coils with laminated wood grain film offer excellent corrosion resistance, are wear- and scratch-resistant, and have a longer service life.

Our Packaging
We use waterproof and moisture-resistant kraft paper for the inner packaging, tightly wrapping the steel coil to prevent moisture absorption. The outer layer is made of thickened galvanized steel plates, secured with custom side guards and high-strength steel straps. Packaging can be either horizontal or vertical.
