PPGI plain steel sheets are a type of flat, pre-painted galvanized steel sheet product made by cutting pre-painted galvanized steel coils to specified lengths. These pre-cut sheets can be used directly in the manufacture of home appliances, equipment casings, and so on.

What Is PPGI Plain Sheet?
PPGI stands for Pre-Painted Galvanized Iron, commonly referring to pre-painted galvanized steel.
Unlike corrugated PPGI roofing or wall sheets, a PPGI plain sheet has a flat surface and is supplied without a formed profile. This makes it suitable for applications where a smooth sheet is required or where the customer plans to perform further cutting, bending, stamping, punching, or forming.
PPGI Plain Sheet Manufacturing Process
PPGI plain sheets are normally produced from pre-painted galvanized steel coil rather than painted after the sheet has been cut. The basic manufacturing route is:
Galvanizing → Surface pretreatment → Primer coating → Top coating → Baking → Cooling → Coil inspection → Leveling → Cut-to-length → Inspection → Packing
