PPGI, also known as pre-painted steel, coil-coated steel, color coated steel coil, etc., is based on hot-dipped galvanized steel coil, which is first pre-treated on the surface, then coated with one or more layers of liquid coating by roller coating, and finally baked and cooled.

The paint materials used include polyester-coated PE, silicone-modified polyester-coated SMP, polyvinylidene fluoride-coated PVD, and highly weather-resistant polyester-coated HDP.
