Container Loading
Galvalume coils are heavy and dense. A loose coil can shift during ocean transit and damage itself, the container, or both. We use timber cradles, steel strapping, and wire lashing — and send photos before the doors close.

Questions Chilean Buyers Ask Us
For standard specs, 10 tons is the technical minimum. But for Chile, a 20ft container (22–25 tons) gives you the best per-ton price and avoids LCL handling risk. If you need less, we can consolidate with another client's order going to the same port — ask about availability.

Every coil gets a magnetic gauge coating test before packing. The Mill Test Certificate lists the actual measured coating weight per side — not just the nominal grade. You can also request SGS or BV third-party inspection at the factory before loading, at cost. We've had Chilean clients bring their own gauge to the factory and verify on the spot.
Ocean transit from Qingdao, or Tianjin to Valparaíso or San Antonio takes 28–35 days. To northern ports (Iquique, Arica) it's 32–38 days. To southern ports (Talcahuano, Puerto Montt) add 3–7 days for transshipment. Production takes 7–20 days depending on spec, so total from deposit to arrival is roughly 5–8 weeks.

Every shipment includes: Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin Form F (for China-Chile FTA preferential tariff), Mill Test Certificate EN 10204 3.1, and coating test report. We send digital copies within 3 days of sailing and originals by courier. Your customs broker should have everything needed for first-time clearance.
Standard: 30% T/T deposit, 70% balance against copy of Bill of Lading. For repeat clients with a track record, we can discuss 20% deposit / 80% balance.
