- Calculation formula = 0.6mm × 7.85 × length (m) × width (m) = 4.71kg/m² × length (m) × width (m)
- Example: 0.6mm galvanized steel sheet measuring 1.2m × 2.44m, weight = 4.71kg/m² × 1.2m × 2.44m ≈ 13.8kg
- The weight of the galvanised layer is ignored here because the weight of the galvanised layer, which is 30-275 g/m² (i.e., 0.03 to 0.275 kg/m²), has a relatively small effect on the total weight.
