Black Annealed Wire Production Process

The production process for black annealed wire uses low-carbon steel wire as the core raw material. The main steps are as follows:

1. First, high-quality low-carbon steel wire with a carbon content of 0.06%-0.22% is selected as the base material, and surface impurities and oxide scale are removed.
2. The treated wire is then placed in an annealing furnace, where it is held at 600-900°C in a protective atmosphere or air for a period of time. Internal stresses are then eliminated through slow cooling;
3. Finally, light drawing or direct coiling results in a black annealed wire with a uniform black oxide film on the surface, which is both flexible and malleable. No complex plating or coating is required, simplifying the process and controlling costs.
